Stewards
Do you have a servant heart for God or want to develop one?
Do you have what it takes to serve God's people?
If so then why not become a steward at Spree
2009
had Bill Hebner as guest speaker for the stewards at Spree in the Borders.
Born and bred in Canada, Bill was a pilot, a golf coach and a pastor
prior to working with Urban Saints, and he lives his faith at such a
fast pace that it’s often a struggle to keep up with him!
Rich
Townend co-ordinated the stewards programme, keen that the stewards
benefited from the experience by engaging in faith and having riotous
fun as they served.
Young people who
choose to come to Spree as a steward are a fantastic help and ensure
the safe and practical running of the weekend.
Stewards need to be age 16 or over and come at a reduced
cost, and Spree will provide all of your meals.
There will be
a teaching programme exclusively for stewards as well as the opportunity
for you to attend the awesome worship sessions at the main venues. We
also run a time out slot for stewards to enjoy some of the activities.
The work of
a steward is demanding and is therefore a role for those young people
who are looking to develop a servant heart for God.
Keep
coming back to find out who will be co-ordinating and speaking at Spree
in the Borders 2010!
